Rick Worner was a former Managing Director of Oppenheimer's Development Finance Group. He has been notably active in structuring development financings using various tax increments, transportation development, STAR Bonds, and neighborhood improvement district structures. Rick is recognized by Harvard Business School as a pioneer in bonds structuring. Prior to his work at Oppenheimer &Co. he worked as a Vice President for Stern Bothers providing financing alternatives for Cities, Counties, School Districts and Developers. Today, he is the Managing Director of National Realty Advisors based in Kansas City, working hand in hand with multiple financial institutions and private investors to structure large-scale real estate opportunities. He is noted for his work with many prominent real estate developments including Berkshire Hathaway’s NFM stores and the Kansas Speedway.
