TRUSTEE / CUSTODIAN
Elite has appointed a number of independent Trustees that can support clients with custody services. Custody services provided by our partner financial institutions typically include settlement, safekeeping, and reporting of clients' marketable securities and cash. Bank custodians are charted to hold physical possession of clients' financial assets using Custody Agreements or Deposit Account Control Agreement (DACA) on behalf of Elite. As a custodian acting independently, the bank is responsible for safeguarding many types of assets, usually held at its premises, a sub-custodian facility, or an outside depository. The custodians provide core domestic custody services, settles trades, invest cash balances as directed, collect income, process corporate actions, prices securities positions, and provide recordkeeping and reporting services. Bank custodians are typically regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in the US, and custody services outside the US are regulated by the appropriate bodies in country responsible, such as FCA, ASIC and CIMA.
