David Hazels, CPA, Chief Financial Officer, is a transformational leader with over 30 years of public accounting and consulting experience with global accounting firms including 18 years as a Partner. Responsible for leading financial, operational and structural transformations to support the enterprise strategy including acquisitions, integration, strategic growth, cost structure optimization, alliances and risk management. David has extensive experience and leadership skills to grow practices and coalesce teams to support go-to-market strategies and drive enterprise value. He served as the National Managing Partner of Grant Thornton LLP’s US Advisory practice and oversaw all aspects of the Advisory and Consulting offerings within transactions/diligence, risk and technology modernization practices including the full range of advisory and consulting solutions. In this capacity, David was responsible for the strategy, financial and operational performance, market development, quality, and talent management to support the consulting service line of the US firm. Most recently David served as the National Managing Partner of Grant Thornton LLP’s Global Offshoring operations. He oversaw all aspects of the offshore operations and strategy for the US firm to support the Audit, Tax and Advisory practices, and client engagement execution and delivery. Additionally, he was responsible for Grant Thornton’s mid-office and back-office offshoring operations supporting the US firm’s internal infrastructure. He is a Member of Grant Thornton LLP's Senior Leadership Team, as well as Grant Thornton International’s Advisory Board supporting the overall global consulting strategy throughout Grant Thornton International.
